Hello, I’m Xinru, whose parents consider their kid might end up handing out flyer on the street for studying advertising. (But they love her and want to support her anyways). 

 

I've tried many ways to explain what advertising is to them, and why would I want to be a creative strategist, yet they still can’t understand why I am so passionate about this subject. Until one day I ask them, "Have you ever feel itchy on your back and try to scratch it before going to sleep?" Because the process of coming up with a new and exciting idea to me is like the moment I finally find that itchy point on my back. 

 

So I’m still scratching hard… just in case I won’t end up working on the street in my parents’ bad dream.
